Course Objectives, Requirements & Contents:

Data warehousing and data mining are two important research fields of computer science. In this course, we try to present the principles of building a data warehouse and the basic concepts and techniques of data mining. In addition, we will give a detailed descriptions to some algorithms widely used for nowadays data mining problems.

 On completion of the course students should be familiar with:

    * Model of Data warehousing;

    * ETL and Data cube;

    * Association rule mining;

* Classification;

* Clustering.
