一个人奔向一千多公里外的远方，有憧憬和也有担忧，曾经一度向高中同学宣传我来自“暨南不军训大学”，因此当我听说我们要参与“新生训练营”时，心中满是好奇与向往。
When I knew I would go to a place which is more than 1000 kilometers from my hometown,there is a lot of expectation and a bit of worries in my heart. Once I made great effort to promote to my senior high school classmates that I will go to "JNU , the University without any military training",so when I knew I had to take orientation camp,curiosities and longings fulfill my heart.
即使期待了很久，查了很多资料，但直到来到暨南园，成为暨南人，我才真正感受到了新生训练营的魅力。来自五湖四海的学生由于缘分而相聚，从生疏到亲切，我们逐渐融合，我们互相鼓励，几天之后，我们已经凝聚成了一个温暖的大家庭。
Though I had expected to come to JNU for the whole summer vacation and also searched a lot of information about JNU, It is onlytillI havecome to JinanUniversity and becomea real student of JNUthat, I just truly felt the glamour of orientation camp.Students from all corners of the world gathered togetherbecause of destiny,from strange to familiar,we become a union,we encourage each other,and now after several days,we have been a warm family already.
在新生训练营期间，我真正体会到了文化的交融和碰撞，前几天我和许多港澳台的同学进行了交流，发现大陆与港澳台的各个方面都有很大差异。无论是来自何地的学生，都能体会到新生训练营比先前的学校活动丰富很多。暨南拳让我们强身健体，朋辈分享会让我们获益匪浅，体验教育活动使我们敞开心扉，这特殊而丰富多彩的活动让我们在这几天过得轻松而又愉快。也正是文化的繁荣与碰撞让暨南园区别于其他高校，让我们在多元的文化世界中丰盈自我，充实自我。
During the orientation camp,I realized the collision and communication of different cultures.Several days ago,I chattedwith someofclassmates from Hong Kong,Macau and Taiwan.I discovered that there are so many differences between China mainland and those districts.Whereverthey come from ,allthe students can experience inthis orientation camp muchmore kinds of activities than the school they had studied in.The special martial art made us exercise more and morepeers sharing let us reap huge fruits,and Ocamp in south campus impelled me to be outgoing.These colorful activities made us feel relaxed and delight recently.And that’s just the reason that why JNU differs from any other universities in China.JNU makes us improve and enrich ourselves in this culture environment.
在这几天中，我收获了丰厚的友谊，让自己渐渐习惯全英文的环境，也慢慢敢尝试用英语来表达自我，聆听他人。通过新生训练营，我不再畏惧从未经历过的大学生活，相反地，我迫不及待地想要投入到接下来的大学生活中去。我想，新生训练营的这段日子，将是我一生中珍贵的宝藏。
During the days,I got great friendship,let myself be accustomed to the all-English environment , try to introduce myself and listen to others in English. Via the experience in orientation camp,I am not afraid of new and unknown life in university,contrarily,I can’t wait the next days in JNU. In my opinion,these days will be valuable creatures in my life.
