Teaching Objectives and Requirements:

This course will systematically teach the basic principles and core concepts of Marxist news concept, as well as the characteristics and rules of news communication under the new media environment, understand the application of new media technology in news gathering, editing and publishing, and deeply understand the trend of integration and development of mainstream media and emerging media in the Internet era. To enable students to have a deep understanding of new media news communication at both theoretical and practical levels, and possess high-level news gathering and editing capabilities, able to adapt to and lead the development of new media needs, and at the same time, combine Marxist news concepts with new media practice to critically analyze current media phenomena. In this way, students can have a deeper understanding and understanding of the practical significance of adhering to the Marxist news concept, cultivate the feelings of the family and the sense of mission and pride in journalism, and lay a good foundation for their future work or further study.

Aims of the course:

1. Master the core concepts of Marxist news concept

2. Understand the characteristics and rules of news communication in the new media environment
