Course Objectives,Requirements,Contents

This compulsory course is an introductory course for undergraduate students from the International College, regardless of their majors. It aims to provide the students basic knowledge about information technologies. It covers the following topics: computer, Internet, Web, Email, computer hardware, computer software, file management, virus and backup, Internet and Local-Area-Network technology, Web service, e-commerce, and digital media. Via this course, students are expected to learn basic knowledge about the above topics, to know how to use a computer to do their daily works, and to get a solid foundation for taking other information technology related courses.
