Ø  Professional Education:

Dr. Wei received PhD at University of Minnesota. He finished 4-year postdoctoral fellow at Yale University. He was principal investigator in US biotech companies (Biogen Idec and Geron). He was professor at Shantou University and director for stem cell research. From Jan. 2010, he was appointed as professor at Jinan University.

He has over 40 SCI papers in prestigious international journals as first or corresponding authors. He owns many Chinese and international patents. He received many research grants, including 2 grants from National Natural Science Foundation of China, 1 grant from Minister of Education of China and 2 grants from Science and Technology Program of Guangdong. He was invited as section chairman at many international conferences. He was invited as reviewer for over 10 international SCI journals.

Ø  Research interests:

(1)Study different types of novel antibodies for the treatment of different cancers, including lung cancer, liver cancer, colorectal cancer and breast cancer.

(2)Study the mechanisms for the antibodies to treat cancers, including different signal transduction pathways.
