Course Objectives& Requirements:
Experiment for organic chemistry is an integral and basic part of the organic chemistry course. It is one of the compulsory courses of pharmacy students .The purpose of this course is to provide an opportunity to observe the reality of organic compounds and reactions, learn something of the operations and techniques that are used in experimental organic chemistry and other areas, data-processing, and further understand the basic principles of organic chemistry, get to know some typical organic reactions and examples.
Course Contents:
1. General rules and safety for the organic lab
2. Basic experimental techniques
(1) Distillation, fractional distillation, boiling point and refractive index of liquids
