This basic content of analytical chemistry is quantitative analysis. By studying this course, the students are required to master the fundamentals of analytical chemistry, build up the concept of exact quantity, and finally lay a solid foundation for the studying of the following course. This course involves the chemical and instrumental methods commonly used in Pharmaceutical and Food Analysis. It includes: data processing in analytical chemistry, acid-base equilbrium and acid-base titrations, complexation reactions and titrations, redox equilibrium and titrations, precipitation titrations, spectroscopic analysis, chromatographic methods.
