On the morning of April 21st, the internal training started in the spring breeze. On the way to our destination -- Tianhe Park, everyone who involved in this activity were all looking forward to what we would experience.
As soon as we arrived, all of us were randomly divided into eightgroups. The groupleaders, with passionate voice, welcomed everybody’s presence and introduced what we had to complete in groups.
Morning till lunch break, group members needed to finish four warm-up games in company with each other, enhancing mutual understanding. In a very first game, eight members in each group formed a circle with wrists tied together. They bent down to do the wrapping and drawing, which required members’ cooperation. The following were much easier according to increasing tacit understanding.
After lunch break, the activities continued. Given a map where there were 11 spots pointed out, groups must find out the places and do corresponding tasks according to group leaders. Unlike the morning’s games, these tasks required accurate sense of direction in such a huge park. Though it's challenging, most groups finished with credits. Among all eight groups, group five did an excellent job with the highest credits.
In spite of a bit of hot weather, everyone joined in the games and tasks with much concentration. In the processes of performing the tasks, not only collaboration skills but laughter occurred. Tired but contented, all of the participants shot a group photo in the end.
On the way back to school, all people had a fruitful aftertaste in the bus. Cooperation in every group strengthened interactions among members in ISLCSU. In the following days, we hope that each person in this big family can find his or her place, enjoying being part of the student union.
