At the beginning of the new semester, we as an organization department from the International School League Committee and Student Union of Jinan University organized “AixinMengya volunteer team”.During the visit to one of the rural areas called Heyuan in Guangdong, we taught in Huangdong Primary School for 5 days.

Each member, with great passion and patience, brought positive influence and new liveliness to children who live in a simple life style. Despite all the obstacles, it was still a very refreshing and touching trip.

Having sufficiently prepared and being guided by HoiChan（a teacher from student affair office), volunteers gave interesting and unforgettable lessons. Each lesson was unique and it was a lot of fun to learn about Science, English, Physical Education,   Music and Art.

Each night, we evaluated and concluded our teaching, hoping to improve and to give better lessons the next day. Day by day, our lessons improved. We began to know the children better and they began to open up to us. On our last day, we donated books and stationery to Huangdong Primary School. Children thanked us with their handwritten letters and origami arts. Our passion for teaching and care for kids was well appreciated by school.

With no doubt, this really was a meaningful teaching experience.It brought liveliness to Guangdong Primary School while offering students opportunities to learn and experience. I was deeply touched by the naive and innocent children and their longing for knowledge.Since time and our teaching resources were very limited, I wish to perfect the trip and also send my love and care to all kinds of people in the future.
