It’s a famous saying that,” If You Love Hard, Apologize For Your Superpower”. We all did the same. We knew we were determined although the goal was hard to win, we kept trying and despite failures we were focused and hence we won it at the end.

Coming to The JINAN UNIVERSITY leaving our home countries was hard at first, but as mentioned earlier, we were determined, so we made it to China, to Jinan University.

Our first day at Jinan University was tiring. Our coordinator and seniors helped a lot in settling and managing with things which made it easy for us since we had to report at 8:15 the next day. The next two days included our appointments for the physical examination, the photo receipt work, police registration and other formalities.

Every day is important here because there is so much to learn and explore. So was the day ahead as we were to be informed about all the rules and regulations that we need to abide to be a proud Jinanian. We were explained everything by the incharges of the respective departments which was a dreadful experience but at the end we realized its importance. The second part was very interesting as we had our monitors appointed. Volunteers despite their nervousness gave speeches and the rest voted.

The day was followed by a speech by our super senior who shared his experience which calmed our minds and cleared all our doubts.

Interesting stuff followed and we had our campus tour which was a mesmerizing experience. We realized that we are now global students and just how beautiful our university campus is!  The next day had the fun-filled treasure hunt and later, a multi-cultural workshop which had a dragon dance and calligraphy class which brought us much more closer to the Chinese culture.

All-in-all, Jinan is a whole new platform to cultivate ourselves not only into skilled doctors but good and dignified human beings. We hope we succeed in making the efforts of everyone who gave us this platform fruitful and the whole institution proud. Thank you!
