The International School Dodge Ball Games for New Classes
On the afternoon of November 29th, the International School Dodge Ball Games began at the basketball playground of the south campus. All the classes of International School who stayed at the south campus were divided into two groups, and only the winners of each group could get the chance to enter the final game on the afternoon of November 30th. The games were extremely exciting, and all the teams tried their best to win the opportunities to get in final game. Finally, the FNC team and the IET team of 2014 won the group game and entered the final game.
And about the students who lived in the main campus, their preliminary contests were held at the Jinling playground on the morning of November 30th.The games started at 9:00 a.m. and the rules were as the same as the rules of the games that were held in the south campus. This time, some students from 2013 and 2012 joined the games, and their behaviors gave everybody a huge surprise. After a fierce battle, the CGA team of 2013 and the IET team of 2013 became the No.1 of each group, and gained the tickets to get in the final game.
The most exciting moment came at the last! At 14:00 on the afternoon of November 30th, every team who had won the preliminary contests gathered at the Jinling playground. The only way to win the game was to believe in your teammates and face the challenge fiercely. At the first round of knockout the IET team of 2014 beat the FNC team by a really small score difference. At the same time, the IET team of 2013 won the CGA team. And the FNC team of 2014 and the CGA team had a battle to fight for the No.3. After an exciting fight, the CGA team got the third place of the games with their rich experiences. The most intense game was coming! At the game between the IET team of 2013 and 2014, all of the players pushed themselves to break their limits to do the best and used every tactic to help them win the final game. After a long-time fight, the IET team of 2013 beat the IET team of 2014 and was the champion of the International School in this Dodge Ball Game.
During the games, all the cheerleaders of each team stood on the sidelines of the playground. They focused their minds on the games. When the break time came, they helped in delivering water bottles to the players of their team and provided support & encouragement the way to win the game.
Actually, the most important things during the games were not the results of the games but the cohesion and the team spirit that had shown by every class. All the players would remember the games and the friendships they gained during the games.
Looking forward to seeing more and more students to pay their attention and take part in the International School Dodge Ball Games!
