On December 21, 2012, the Chinese traditional festival “Winter Solstice”, the Teaching Affairs Office held another training program for teaching and administrative staff of the International School.  IS Foreign Expert, Dr. Hashmi gave a lecture on “Promoting Active Learning Practices”, and Mr. Ben, an exchange student from University of Cincinnati, delivered a presentation on “Educational Practices of the United States from a Student's Viewpoint”. Their experience and unique point of view meant the audience was treated to two wonderful lectures. Each talk prompted a stimulating discussion between the presenters and the audience.
