Chinese Lion and Dragon dance is a symbol of auspiciousness. It is purely by the refreshing, rejuvenating and rewarding qualities of this art which has made the Lion and Dragon dance such an integral part of Chinese culture for thousands of years. It was amazing when International students of IS, for the first time, gave a spectacular performance on Lion and Dragon dance for the inauguration of Jinan Cultural Festival 2014. It was an energetic and inspired performance by the team. The humor and interaction with the guests made it so much fun for the people around to watch. It was a remarkable event. Though it was the dedication and efforts of the performers to put up a good show without the hard work of the teachers it wouldn’t have been possible. The International Dragon and Lion dance Union thank their honorable teachers for coaching them with patience taking the students through all the hurdles in making them learn the dance and perform it successfully. It surely will be one of the most memorable performance for all of the students and staff of IS and will continue expect their best in the forth-coming events.
