On Nov 21st, we invited Jerry—the current chairman of the International School League Committee and Student Union to share with us some of his experiences both in study and work.

Jerry is a currently a junior student in the International School majoring in finance. When asked to describe himself to us, he genuinely told us, with a mixture mischievousness and sincerity, that he always follows his heart and enjoys everything he is doing. And that’s why others feel no pressure being with him.

Although he graduated from a middle school in Hongkong, Jerry actually was born and bred in Guangzhou. The reason why he chose the International School was that he has a passion for making friends from different places. When he was a sophomore, he became a member of the Department of Public Relations of the International School League Committee and Student Union where he acquired a variety of interpersonal skills which are of great significance to his job now.

With respect to his responsibility, he pointed out that he has always devoted himself to strengthening the cooperation and combination of all departments. He felt that the new members from this year are more active and enthusiastic than ever before, and he hoped that there will be more intermixing parties for further communication among all departments. However, he also added that this year they will meet with some realistic problems at work because of the change in school policy.

At last, he expressed his expectations of the International School League Committee and Student Union under his leadership and he was convinced that all members will feel at home in this big family. The interview ended in a harmonious atmosphere.
