President and First Deputy Secretary Election Debate Assembly of 12th ISLCSU

On 24th May, 2012, the 12th International School League Committee and Student Union President and First Deputy Secretary Election Debate Assembly was successfully held in the Academic Hall. Guests included, Mr. He Xiaoyong, He Dongfeng, Liu Qian, Sun Qiyun, members of the standing committee, and student representatives.
The hosts introduced the guests and then, after the playing of the school anthem, Mr. He Dongfeng and Pamela both spoke, expressing their expectations for the assembly.
Then, the hosts introduced the candidates: Presidential Candidate number 1, Sam Lee; Presidential Candidate number 3, Jerry Tse; and First Deputy Secretary candidate, Huang Jingkuan. The debate assembly was divided into six sections: self-introduction, compulsory questions, candidates’ group discussion, candidates’ interactive questions, interactive questions from the audience, and self-conclusion. First, the three candidates stated their beliefs and policies with the assistance of PPTs or videos. After asking each other questions, the interactive questioning from audience began. Aimed at different candidates, the audience raised their questions. Candidates answered their questions with patience. At last, this section ended with the questions raised by Sun Qiyun and Liu Qian.
Finally, the three candidates made a brief conclusion about their performance. With the applause from the audience, the assembly came to an end.
