Objectives:
The teaching objectives of this course is to enable the students to understand and grasp the conceptions ,basic principles, contents of and the advances in rehabilitation medicine, master the functional assessments and treatment techniques in rehabilitation medicine and the rehabilitation therapy for some common diseases.
Requirements:
Master the outlines and basic principles of rehabilitation medicine
Master the working contents of and types in rehabilitation medicine
Master the functional evaluations and treatment techniques in rehabilitation medicine
Master the rehabilitation therapy for some common diseases and the treatments for the special disorders in rehabilitation practice.
Contents:
Outlines of rehabilitation, functional evaluation, EMG, occupational therapy, speech therapy, sports therapy, physical therapy, Chinese traditional techniques, stroke rehabilitation, rehabilitation for spinal diseases, rehabilitation for peripheral nerve injury, rehabilitation for respiratory diseases, rehabilitation for cardiovascular diseases, and rehabilitation for limb fractures.
