At 2:00 p.m. on November 28th, 2019, the opening ceremony of the 46th track and field games of Jinan University was successfully held in the school headquarters. The square array of all colleges is like flowers compete in splendor. Of course, international colleges are no exception.

It’s a clear and pleasantly cool afternoon. And the warm sunshine was sprinkled on the ground. Teachers and students from all colleges arrived at the scene early. Around the runway，they lined up orderly in their own square array.

With the music playing, the national flag guard team took the lead in entering the stadium at a neat pace. Their firm pace comes from countless days and nights of training, and they have a patriotic heart under the firm pace.

Subsequently, the "flowers" from the kindergarten and Primary School of Jinan University brought performances. They are naive, lovely and vigorous, adding more vitality to the games.

After that, it was time to show in the square of each college. The square array of each college can be described as Eight Immortals crossing the sea, showing their extraordinary strength, reflecting its own characteristics and philosophy. This shows not only the characteristics of the college, but also the cultural diversity of Jinan University. All the people present are interpreting the spirit of the school sports meeting with their own actions and enthusiasm: "keep pace with the times, develop and innovate, work hard and win the first place bravely". And the leaders and audience in the stands enjoyed themselves, and the students and teachers danced happily in the warm sun. 

And the teams of each college enter in an orderly way. Now it's time to belong to the International College.

First, the flag of the International College came into the public's vision, and then came the 70 international college athletes, who expressed their best wishes for the 70th birthday of the motherland. After them, there was a team of teachers who were as enthusiastic as their classmates. The teachers all wish the children of the international college a success in the coming competition. A bright red dragon was dancing in the wind. After circling the team, it stopped at the side. The enthusiasm and blessings in the hearts of all people have finally become our slogan: International College, blooming flowers; extraordinary, new.

So excited, so loud!

The team of students from all over the world symbolizes openness and exchange, and embodies the inclusiveness and uniqueness of international colleges. This is really a distinctive team! 

At the end of the square array display, the whole group began to stand. And the national flag guard team is also serious and respectful, they raised the national flag. No matter what they were doing, all the teachers and students stopped and watched the national flag rise to the top.

After that, vice president Zhang ronghua gave a speech. He first expressed his greetings to the athletes and thanks to the staff, then shared with us the outstanding achievements of our school in sports in the past year, and was very happy to write the spirit of Jinan University. Finally, he wished the Games a complete success and the athletes excellent results. After the athletes and referees were sworn in, the opening ceremony of the 46th track and field games of Jinan University was successfully concluded and the Games officially opened.

Now the exhibition of the square array is over, and the athletes will show their presence in the 46th games!
