Founded in 1994, Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences) is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the large town of Ingolstadt (population range of 50,000-249,999 inhabitants), Bavaria. Officially accredited and/or recognized by the Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Wissenschaft und Kunst (Bavarian State Ministry for Science and Art), Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) is a very small (uniRank enrollment range: 1,000-1,999 students) coeducational higher education institution. Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt (THI) offers courses and programs leading to officially recognized higher education degrees such as bachelor degrees, master degrees in several areas of study. This 25 years old higher-education institution has a selective admission policy based on students' past academic record and grades. International students are welcome to apply for enrollment.

Nomination

In the first step, all exchange students need to be selected and nominated for an exchange semester by their home university.

Application Process

The whole application process takes place online. Therefore, please refrain from sending us application documents via email or in hard copy! As soon as the application period of the respective semester starts, the nominated students receive a link to our online application tool. Having registered, the tool will gradually guide you through the application process. Make sure to check your email account regularly!
