Comparative Study on Chinese and Foreign Civilization

This course provides a broad survey of the major topics, issues, and problems of the civilizations in the world from their beginnings to 21th century. Special attention will be given to similarities and differences between and among world civilizations. This course highlights the situations of different types of civilizations in the era of globalization and their causes and consequences. This course is organized three parts:

• Religions in the World
• Literatures in the World
• Social and Political Changes in the World

This course also includes cultural city tour or field work in the weekend or in public holiday.
