Investigation of Chinese History and Culture

This course is one non-degree compulsory course of China Studies Master Program, which is designed to all the students of this program. With concentration on social practice, this course plans to deepen student’s knowledge and understandings of Chinese history and culture by on site survey on those famous historical relics and ancient cities that will integrate theoretical knowledge and direct experiences. Two field studies will be organized and each of them will last 5 to 7 days. One is in the winter vacation of the freshman year, the other is in the summer vacation of the freshman year. The visiting spot might be changed every year.
