Chinese Language

This course is designed for complete beginners with little or no knowledge of Chinese language. Our course begins to develop the skills of understanding and speaking Chinese and introduces pinyin. Participants will learn to use familiar everyday expressions and very basic phrases. On completion of this course, students will be able to:

• Master pinyin, the Chinese transcription and pronunciation system
• Use simple greetings and make basic conversation
• Be able to read and write approx. 120 Chinese characters
