Chinese Corner was held by International School to the west of the library on November 28th. It showed some traditional Chinese festivals：Mid-autumn Festival, The Double Ninth Festival, Spring Festival, Lantern Festival, Chinese New Year’s eve, Magpie Festival, The Winter Solstice, Dragon Boat Festival and Tomb-sweeping Festival. Every major had a really special performance and also had a booth to show different festivals. There were a number of stalls arranged with different Chinese games.

    In this special day, We’re happy for the teachers coming, including Song Jingsong, He Dongfeng, He Xiaoyong, Liu Qian, Sun Qiyun, Chen Hai, Chen Yanyu, Xu Fuping, Zhao Kai, Zhang Senwen, Xiong Mian, Divyashree, and some students representatives, and the representative of sponsor SCAN, etc. Everyone looked forward to this day, because they had prepared for the show for several months. At the beginning, MBBS’s dragon dance and OD’s performance excited all of us. Then, other majors also gave us stunning performances which impressed everyone present. All the students enjoyed the interesting games related to the different festivals.

Good times always flies fast. Although Chinese Corner is over, students are still intoxicated with the atmosphere of Chinese festival. We have learnt a lot about Chinese culture, and have learnt how to keep on friendships.
