On June 14, International School (IS) Jinan University India Alumni Organization, the first IS alumni organization outside China, officially formed in Bangalore, South India, with the support of our Indian partner, Saraswati Online Com. Professor Jiesheng Liu, University Vice President, and Professor Shuze Tang, Dean of IS, attended this significant event together with MBBS graduates, doctors who have lectured at Jinan University and parents.

Dr. Apte Gargi Madhukar (MBBS 2005056310) and Dr. Sayantaann Saha (MBBS 2006056002), nominated as president and general secretary respectively, were voted for by attendees.

In his address, Professor Liu extended congratulations to the new alumni organization and encouraged alumni to develop the organization and use it as a platform for friendship, communication, career development, and to contribute to Indian and Chinese society.

The India Alumni Organization is the 5th IS alumni organization after Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Dongguan and Beijing.
