Since 1985, Dr. Riley started his university teaching experiences in both USA and Canada. He worked as the Assistant Professor in 1985 in the Department of Food and Nutrition, North Dakota State University, and acted as the Senior Clinical Research Associate in 1986 in the Medical Department, Columbus, Ohio, Research Associate in Biochemistry from 1987 to 1989 in the Hormel Institute, University of Minnesota and Research Associate and Lecturer during 1990 – 1993 in the Department of Zoology, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg. He was finally employed as an Adjunct Professor during 1993 – 1995) in the Department of Food and Nutrition, University of Manitoba, Winnipeg, Canada.
Dr. Riley has great experiences in the areas of animal feed nutrition and food safety. He has been run his consulting business for Canadian Agricultural and Animal Nutrition including project management for a federally funded farm food safety pilot project for wheat, malting barley, canola, mustard and soybeans since 2001. He acted as a market development manager for Ontario Soybean Growers during 05/04 – 05/05, the special advisor to the Director General during 03/02 – 12/03, and the Manager for Planning & Market Development, XCAN Grain Pool Ltd. Winnipeg, Manitoba during 01/97 – 11/01. He used to be the president of Ag-West Biotech Inc. Saskatoon, Saskatchewan in 1996 and the vice president for the Canola Council of Canada in Saskatoon.
William is now actively in the area of animal feed and food safety not only in North America, but also in Asian Countries.
