CYL Day| A Tour to TIT creative garden to memorize Lei Feng
Today is a wonderful sunny day! Everything looks so bright and beautiful, and everyone is happy and smiling. And it was also a busy day for the Organization Department, a special Community activity was organized in TIT creative garden to memorize Lei Feng, the Chinese soldier who was always ready to help others without expecting anything in return, and carried forward the spirit of International School.
The activity began at about 10am, with 30 members divided into 6 groups, including two foreigners. After a warm-up game, group members became active and got familiar with each other. The first game was finding NPC. When six groups finished each game they could get certain amount of chips. These tasks were difficult but interesting, especially testing and cultivating the solidarity and collaboration among the teammates.
As we all know, March is a month to memorize Lei Feng. So the Community Activity was aimed to advocate Lei Feng spirit. There was a special game in the task——questions about Lei Feng. Competitors were not allowed to search the Internet for answers but they could discuss together. Everyone enjoyed it and got a lot of knowledge about Lei Feng. Some of them even discussed the questions after the game. The two foreigners also enjoyed this special game very much. They told us that they knew nothing about Lei Feng before, but through the game, they learnt a lot and they also expressed their admiration toward Lei Feng and their wish to learn from Lei Feng.
After lunch break, a tear brand game was played to get the members relaxed. It was an exciting game and everyone was anxious to participate.
Before the end of the Community Activity, the warmhearted organizers gave us an unexpected game. They gave every group a piece of paper and let everyone write or draw their best wishes to the 15th birthday of International School. These cards convey blessings of students from all over the world, which showed the inclusiveness of International School. All kinds of cultures communicate with each other. Every one of us have benefited a lot from learning and living here.
