Objectives and Requirements:
As the academic basis of finance, this course requires students to master the general principle and basic theory of monetary and finance, and mechanism of financial management. By learning the course, students should be able to apply the theory to explain financial phenomena and problems.

thegeneral principle and basic theory of money, interest and interest rate, financial market, financial institute system, commercial banks, central banks, money demand and supply and equilibrium of monetary market, inflation and deflation, monetary policy, financial innovation, risk management and financial regulation.
