The Summer Classes in UC and UBC

This summer, students of the JNU will be eligible to attend one of two summer programs at either the University of Cincinnati (UC) in the U.S.A, or the University of British Columbia (UBC) in Canada.
The program at UC will last for one month, from July 23rd to August 23rd. The major courses are International Finance and Money and Banking. On return, attending students will receive 3 credits. Students will reside in the student dormitory in the college. Each dormitory accommodates two students, and consists of a living room, bedroom, toilet and furniture. Students can surf the Internet in the dormitory. The fee is about 24300RMB, not including the airplane ticket.
UBC, ranked 34th in the world, offers International Marketing and International Commerce. On return, attending students will receive 3 credits for Marketing and 2 credits for Commerce. Students will reside in the student dormitory in the college; one student per dormitory. It is also from July 23rd to August 23rd. The fee, 27700RMB, is higher than UC’s and it also doesn’t include the airplane ticket.
Sign up for these programs in Room 317, International School, in the Second Social Science Building; the deadline is at the end of this week. Interviews will be held at the end of this month.
