Overview
The International School (IS) of Jinan University (JNU) is pleased to organize a Summer Program for students from our partner universities from various parts of the world. The Program will be held from 24 July – 24 August 2010 on JNU campus.

To spread Chinese culture all over the world and recruit overseas Chinese students from all the continents, Jinan University was originally founded as Jinan Academy in Nanjing in 1906, initiating the education of the overseas-Chinese in China. Thereafter, one after another generation of Jinan people endeavored to carry forward the great mission. The year 1996 saw Jinan University enter the rank of the state’s 100 key universities for the 21st century. Up to now, the university has received a great number of students from 120 countries of five continents as well as three regions of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Currently, there are more than 35,000 students in Jinan University, of which more than 12,000 are from foreign countries and the three regions of HongKong, Macao and Taiwan.

Established in June 2001, the international school holds a strong position as the leading first-preference institution for prospective students starting undergraduate education in English.
