Course Objectives, Requirements & Contents

Linear Algebra is a basic compulsory course of computer science and technique, its major content consists of matrix,determinants,vector space,Eigenvalues and Orthogonality.

The first goal of the course is to teach students how to use linear algebra as a powerful tool for computation. The second goal is to give a gentle introduction to the theory of matrix, determinant, abstract vector spaces, Eigenvalues and Orthogonality.

On completion of the course students should be familiar with:

    * Linear Equations and their solutions;

    * The Algebra of Matrices;

    * Determinants;

    * Vector spaces;

* Eigenvalues and Eigenvectors of real matrices;

* Orthogonality.
