Course Objectives, Requirements, Contents

Course's aim is to help students become a better programmer by teaching students the basic concepts underlying all computer systems. This course wants students to learn what really happens when their programs run, so that when things go wrong (as they always do) students will have the intellectual tools to solve the problem. By the end of the course, students will be prepared to take any of the upper-level systems classes. Even more important, students will have learned skills and knowledge that will help students throughout their career. In addition, this course requires students to study the computer organization.
