Course Objectives, Requirements & Contents:

The students should gain a thorough understanding of the basic concepts of Calculus. The main goals of this course are to introduce the ideas and techniques of calculus and to explore the applications or uses of these ideas and techniques. Throughout we will emphasize conceptual understanding, which leads to a better view of how these ideas and techniques were developed.

This course provides a standard introduction to differential and integral calculus. The main contents are functions, limits and continuity, derivatives and their applications, indefinite integrals, definite integrals and their applications.
